For years, we have received requests regularly from prisoners, pastors, and other spiritual leaders from all over the world for free books that have been written by Gene Getz. Most of these requests come from third world countries where resources are minimal.
Gene has graciously made his books available at no cost, but currently we don’t have the financial resources to mail them—particularly overseas where most of the requests come from.
For example, we just received the following on our website and it is a sample of the fruit produced by people receiving these resources—and wanting more:
“I am a pastor in Kampala, Uganda, East Africa. I thank God for the grace He has given His servant Gene. I first got to know about him through a small book, The Measure of a Family, which really came at the right time and God used it to bring clarity into our marriage. Then I requested other books by Gene and I received The Measure of a Man, The Measure of a Healthy Church, and The Measure of a Woman. I have been reading through the 20 qualities of maturity and my life has not remained the same. I am now on a project of starting men’s groups where we can share principles from this book. I hope I can get more from the man of God.”
We would like to continue this ministry. Consequently, we have set up a tax deductible fund through the Center for Church Renewal simply entitled “Resource Ministry.” At this point, we’re simply asking for a one-time gift to begin to build this fund. We would really appreciate your participation.
