Dr. Ken Wilson believes voting should extend beyond mere political agendas: it should fulfill a moral obligation of compassion. His new book explores historical facts, medical science, legal statutes, and theology with a conclusion challenging the present status quo. He hopes voters will choose God's priorities by voting to love our neighbor.

Dr. Wilson received a Teagle Foundation Scholarship to attend The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. After receiving his medical degree in 1981, Dr. Wilson received General Surgery training at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. This was followed by an Orthopedic residency in Michigan and a Hand and Microvascular Fellowship at Loma Linda University Medical Center in California.

After completing this medical training, he accepted an Assistant Professorship in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at OHSU medical school in Portland, Oregon. He taught medical doctors and medical students for seven years on the state and national level as a member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. Presently, Dr. Wilson has a private practice of hand surgery in Salem, Oregon as a Board Certified Orthopedic surgeon. He has earned a Master of Divinity degree from Faith Evangelical Lutheran Seminary and a Master of Theology degree from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary. He was president of Oregon Right to Life for 5 years. His wife and four children continue to be his priority commitment.
